Chip, Check out ovf in ogr. http://mapserver.gis.umn.edu/docs/reference/vector_data/VirtualSpatialData That is the way I am displaying points from a MS database. Works very well. I think I've posted the layer snippet and .ovf file a while back on the list, if you search the archives you might be able to find it. If not let me know and I get dig it up. Hope this helps, Brian
