[UMN_MAPSERVER-USERS] Hiding zoom option

Hey,
hoping someone can help me figure out how to do this
what i want is for the user to select an area on the map and have it 
automatically zoom in 2x...i have a drop down box with that option and when 
they select the map it zooms in i just don't want the drop down box to 
show...any suggestions?
