There is no way to just hide a subtitle in Maptitude, but I have found that
you can at least make it blank. Choose the subtitle that you want to get rid
of from the scroll list on the Contents page of the Legend Settings dialog
box. Highlight any text in the Text box, hold down the "Alt" key, and type
"0160" (For every font that I tried, that ASCII character is blank). There
will still be a space in the legend where the subtitle was, but there will
be no text.
