If the origin is in one layer and the other points are in another, you can 
use Edit-Fill, Tag option, and tag with the distance. The other points 
would be displayed in a dataview, and possibly be a selection set. Right 
click on the column heading for the field to fill and choose Fill to get to 
the dialog box.
