You are right. They are called desire lines and are based on a geographic 
file created from a matrix. A dual-bandwidth scaled-symbol theme gets 
created by the Tools-Geographic Analysis-Desire Lines command to show the 
AB and BA values for the lines in the geographic file that connect the 
origins and destinations.

The matrix data structure and dual-bandwidth scaled-symbol themes are not 
available in Maptitude, so it would be a big development issue to add this 
capability to Maptitude. However, a desire line geographic file created by 
TransCAD could be displayed by Maptitude with a regular scaled-symbol theme 
for just one value, such as the flow from or to the origins.
