Does your datafile already have lat/lon map coordinates? I suspect not, otherwise Maptitude ("MT") would have detected them and asked you if you wanted to create a geographic point file. OR perhaps the coordinate fields where not labeled as "latitude" and "longtitude" so that MT overlooked them when reading the input file. If this is the case, while in the Dataview, change the column header for "latitude" and "longtitude" respectively, resave the file as a .dbf . Then close the Dataview, and re-open the modified .dbf file ..MT should recognize the lat/lon fields and build you a point layer which should open in the Map view, then you can add other layers to make your map. However, if your data from Landview didn't have coordinates, then you have to do some geocoding...and that's a whole different lesson. Good luck...
