GFrey is a 'light' black. Almost all printers cannot control the density
if a drop if ink. There is no way to make a drop of black ink 'lighter'.
To approximate the desired colors, the printer driver will play with which
'dots' get printed. If every other 'dot' gets black ink, the result will
be a 'lighter' black. If every third, lighter still.
Try printing your grey line at different widths. I'm sure at a larger
width you will start to see it.
The reason the line is visible at a given width on some printers and not
others is the way the drivers 'diddle' the printing.
