To All.
Much of what we do requires the entering of Parcel Identifiers
(subdivision - block - lot) Parcel Numbers
onto Geographic files. Those numbers provide the LINK to Tabular Databases.
We have developed a method that provides physical and vocal feedback as
well as automatic updating of numbers and verification during data entry.
We've found certain sounds can act as a reward for a successful realtime
posting of the data. I'm not talking about the annoying sound as found at
the supermarket but; consider why they do augment the physical motion with
the sound. We use it for the same purpose plus it can act like one of those
tiny mints your spouse puts on you pillow every so often.
The physical aspect would be the polygon (in our case) would change
color and perhaps part of the number magically appear on the screen.
Creating the initial Toolbox Dialog box was a challenge syntax etc but
after one understands the ins & outs adaptation to other usages is
straightforward.
Any one have any thoughts on this subject?
Onward
