Dear Fellow Alumni,

The mission of Marist is to provide Catholic education to those who have
less. Recognizing that the school now caters to the middle-income group, the
school opened its doors to the less privileged in the immediate community.
These boys and girls are nurtured by the same faculty, the same facilities, and
the same materials. Since 1996, the school has graduated more than 350. There
are success stories of those who continued on to college. One case stands out.
Janise graduated with honors at the UST with a degree in education. She went
back to Marist to be a teacher. Last year, she was cited as one of the ten
outstanding young women of Marikina.

The graduating batch seeks our support to cover the expenses of their retreat
and their yearbook, a first in the program. During the Christmas break, they
raised funds by singing Christmas carols to generous donors. Despite their
efforts, they are still short of funds. Financial donations may be coursed
thru the office of Miss Christine Stokes, principal of the school. You may
reach her at 9420526.

  Yours in Marist,
