INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS 
AND PROGRAMS OFFICER
 
 
The International Partnerships and Programs
Office seeks an Officer to take office in April 1, 2010.
 
The International Partnerships and Programs
Officer reports directly to the President.  The duties and
responsibilities are as follows:
 
 
1)      Responsible
in over-seeing all the functions and services provided by the office
2)      Focus on the conceptualization, exploration,
negotiation, implementation, and monitoring of international partnerships and
programs of Miriam College.
 
2.1. Oversee the developments in
institutional-level international networks of the school such as   
 membership
status, payment of annual fees, active communication and correspondences.
2.2. Seek out strategic academic
exchange partnerships for Basic and Higher Education Units 
and facilitates the
negotiation/drafting of Memorandum of Agreements (MOA) or   
Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU);
      2.3.
Ensure active communication with partner schools in the planning and
implementation of 
           
 academic partnership and exchange agreements;
      2.4.
Assist the Basic and Higher Education Units and Advocacy/Special Centers in the
planning, 
 implementation and evaluation
of international activities/programs within the school;
      2.5.
Monitor the progress of international partnerships, linkages, network
memberships, and 
 programs of Basic and Higher
Education Units and Advocacy/Special Centers; 
      2.6.
Seek out funding partners and drafts funding proposals for foreign scholars.
      2.7.
Assist the Miriam College President in all her/his international partnerships,
linkages, and 
           
 programs.
 
3)      Plan
for and get involved in the international marketing and recruitment.
 
 
The candidate should have a Masters Degree,
extensive networking experience, excellent command of the English language and
proficient administrative skills.
