23 times riskier

A recent study by Virginia Tech Institute, one of the world's largest
vehicle safety research organisations, shows that the risk posed by
texting while driving sharply exceeds previous estimates - easily
surpassing other distractions behind the wheel. The researchers estimate
that, when drivers send texts, the risk of collision is 23 times higher
than normal.

New research by the UK's Transport Research Laboratory indicates that
writing or reading text messages while driving slows reaction time by
35%; put simply, it impairs motorists more than being under the
influence of alcohol or drugs.

Papaano kaya yun eating while driving...sometimes we are guilty of that
also di ba?

Just don't forget to wear your seatbelts at all times whenever you drive
including all your passengers (even if they are seated at the back)

Let's all be safe.

God bless you all.
