Yes, you are right and I agree we should help out. In fact, I think a lot of us are willing to help out Dondie. We are just waiting for someone to take the initiative. Thanks for doing it through this email. That being said, can we request the execom of the batch to organize a meeting soonest to discuss how we can help Dondie, financially or otherwise. We can probably discuss during the meeting the conduct of a motorcade (it can be exclusively for Dondie) and how we can reach out to other batchmates for their contribution to the campaign. As most of you know, Dondie Reyes is running for public office in the 1st District of Marikina as Councilor. I guess regardless of whose political party he is with, but our batch mate is asking for our help. It may be too late now if we try to pull our money together to help him but the quickest way we can do this is in printing the flyers for him. I attached in this email the softcopy. He mentioned about RISO photocopy (I am not familiar with that, sorry) that cost around P0.30/copy, probably you can help produce his campaign material. We target to at least come up with 100,000 flyers or P30,000.. If we can at least spare P500 from our budget to help our future "mayor of Marikina," I guess this appeal won't hurt our pocket. We can use Cromwell as our drop off point and he will just coordinate this with Dondie. Also, anyone who has the skill to organize a motorcade for Dondie? Although he mentioned that if we do, he can't join us as they are allowed to only have 5 cars per candidate as mandated by their party...pwede if we do it on our own initiative..
