The idea is that a human-readable time is an abbreviated form of
the full datetime. So you I something like

    <abbr class="dtstart" title="2006-08-03T21:22:44+0200">now</abbr>

the idea being that I used “now” as a human-readable shorthand
form for 2006-08-03T21:22:44+0200. (I’m not sure about the exact
format required for the title attribute.)

I dither between considering this is an extremely clever
application of semantics or an ugly hack.
