Just to add some fun to this discussion, most Spanish speakers pronounce
it "Jenome".

With this Spanish sound "J" that is a stronger "H" in English "Hello" or
a more dry "ch" in German "sprechen". The same "x" pronnounced in
"Mecsico" to say "México Distrito Federal" or "Xalapa".  :)
