I don't have any experience on videos, just watching :). This is just my very personal opinion. > > > > PD: off topic, I remember my friends and I were amazed with the > Nokia > > N900/Maemo5 launch video. It's a presentation of a new interface (and a new device) and it give you an idea about how you must interact with the new interface. It's a very well done video. It's professional. I love the music. I don't know if we have the resources for producing such as good qualitity video, though I'm sure we have talented people :). I think this is a sort-of teaser video. People got shocked by this video. After that, people want to know more and they did a presentation video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Az8VE1NtY8&feature=related And after that, they did several 30 seconds mini-tutorial videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_bx3GY_gfk&playnext_from=TL&videos=J_X7m7LuC_4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDsse8nNnp0&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aAY-xlfKyeI&feature=related and more like that I think they did a very good marketing job. We can take some ideas about how to plan GNOME 3 marketing. Cheers, -- Juanjo Marin -- marketing-list mailing list marketing-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/marketing-list
