I found this:

Which is a list of currently commercially available graphics cards

This list doesn't cover all the SIS, Via, S3 or Matrox cards that are
still out in the wild, but it's a list that probably covers >99% of
shipped desktops, laptops and nettops.

And this: http://www.x.org/wiki/Projects/Drivers - which is a list of
Xorg drivers.
