Every year in Greece we have the Conference of Open Source Comminities,
where everyone presents new technologies, projects etc. Last year Gnome
had a booth and a presentation. Check out the report:

This year, it'll be held on April 20-21 in Athens.
Deadline for presentations applications is on March 26th.
I'll apply for a booth and maybe for a presentation (maybe new features
of Gnome or present the actions of Greek community).
When I have news, I'll inform the list.
