Linux Conf Au 2014 will be 6-10 January in Perth, Western Australia. Call for papers opens 1 June. They will probably have their usual Open Day on the following Saturday (11th). I shall plan to attend, request a table for TDF/LO, and propose a talk and a mini Conf, as I did last year. Developers would be more likely to have talks accepted, so I hope others will also make proposals. http://lca2014.linux.org.au/
