Unfortunately, we will not have a general budget approved until FOSDEM. Also, we have invited people to submit budget requests for 2017, and we absolutely need to stick to the rules (in order to approve a budget, we need a budget request sent to treasu...@documentfoundation.org by January 20) to keep the process and the books tidy. For events early in the year, we can have a special approval, but the process has to start earlier.
The project is growing, and we must have some internal discipline for budgets, as otherwise managing the expense budget is a nightmare (as it has been in 2016). Mike and myself, with the help of other people, are looking at what can be shipped from Germany. We will come back with the information ASAP.
