While this is indeed enforced, on x86, the S mode can be disabled by the user. This action is irreversible though. [1]. The method is completelly legal and authorized by Microsoft. Then, afterwards, the end user is able to install apps from outside the Microsoft Store and may install LibreOffice from our website for example.
