Are case studies just within scope, or has any actual work been done so far?
I'm raising this issue now because several of the companies we are approaching as part of the customer research committee's work have already indicated that they'd be willing to do a case study, and somebody should take them up on the offer. If the marketing committee is already well down the road of creating the first set of case studies, it would be easiest if we could "throw them over to you guys" ;-) because it's only incremental effort for you and we could get something reasonably consistent. If not, it might make sense to do that initial set as part of the interview process etc. that we're doing; certainly that might be simpler for the customer/interviewee. Note we are working on a tight schedule, with our initial set of customer research results planned for the board meeting October 9th. To keep momentum with the people who have gracefully agreed, we should solicit their input and feedback on drafts etc. no later than about that date.
