CSIRO (Australia's government scientific research body) is seeking to appoint a
Software Engineer to join the Computational Modelling Group in Melbourne. The
position is primarily C++ Qt application development with other main
responsibilities being software release management and direct interaction with
end users in a support role. Strong GUI development skills and a solid
understanding of object-oriented design are essential.

The role offers significant potential for exercising a wide range of skills. It
offers responsibility for all stages of product development, from design right
through to delivery. Our development processes are flexible and can be adapted
to what works best for achieving the best outcome. A taste for learning new
things and a tendency toward exploring new technologies will also prove
valuable in the role.

We make use of very recent Qt versions and work across Windows and Linux
platforms interchangeably. If you've got experience using Squish for testing Qt
GUI applications, all the better.

If this sounds like something that you'd be interested in, you can find the job
