QT Windows GUI C++ Programmer
Nowell, Inc is seeking a highly skilled software developer(s) that is
experienced with the QT C++ GUI framework. We are creating a set of rich GUI
applications that will be the primary dashboard and management interface that
will be querying a server. The application will be professionally designed and
documented. The application will make network requests to read/write data from
a central server and display to the user in real time. Programmer will
translate data into graphical representation to allow the application to be
user friendly and easy to use.
1.. At least 3-4 years of Experience in QT C++ GUI framework is recommended
2.. Familiarity in programming in Windows 32 API programming environment
3.. Object oriented programming techniques in C++ or C#
4.. At least 3 years of experience in general commercial GUI design and
implementation
5.. Deep understanding of the C++ Standard Template Library
6.. Familiarity with QT Widgets, QT designer, Microsoft Visual Studio is a
plus
7.. A taste of great looking artwork, delivery and presentation
8.. Software Deployment - Ability to create a project to install your
application on a target host
9.. Crystal Reports: We are also looking to create detailed reports on the
dashboard for presentation to the customer. Candidate should be able to use
Crystal Reports toolset (or equivalent graphing and charting API) or learn it
quickly.
10.. Bachelors' or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical
Engineering, Mathematics or any engineering field is preferred. Those who have
other qualifications are encouraged to apply as well. Experience counts more
than anything however
Before you begin your project you will develop a detailed architecture that
describes the flow of your application. Working with our lead software
engineer, you will create a mock draft of the application, and we will supply
the function calls necessary to begin working. After documenting your
architecture, you will implement your application. Location for this
development project will be Austin Texas.
