The Australia New Zealand Student Chapter of the Society of Marine Mammalogy 
hosts a monthly online connect group with guest speakers aimed at students and 
early career researchers in the marine mammal field.

The next group meeting is Wednesday 26th October with Associate Professor Guido 
J. Parra joining us to talk about 'Every day is day one: uncensored tips for 
becoming a "successful" marine mammalogist'.

These groups will happen on the last Wednesday of each month at 12pm WA 
(GMT+8)/5pm NZ (GMT+13) via the same link with guest speakers from various 
sectors to talk about the different career paths available in marine mammal 
science and providing advice, tips, and encouragement for early-career 
researchers as well as to help students build better connections and stay 
informed.
