The School of Ocean Sciences, Bangor University, are advertising for a 
full-time and permanent lecturer in Top-Predator Population.

This is a teaching and research role. The successful applicant will: (1) help 
develop undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and (2) have opportunities to 
develop a research team at the School.

The School of Ocean Sciences is based in Anglesey, north Wales. There is an 
abundant and diverse marine mammal community in the region, including several 
resident cetacean species, providing ample and convenient opportunities to 
develop field-based teaching and research. The school also has several research 
vessels, well suited to collecting concurrent oceanographical and biological 
information, and deploying and recovering seabed moorings.  There is a 
multi-discipline emphasis in our teaching and reaching, facilitated by 
oceanographers and biologists working alongside one-another on campus, and 
regular seminars where teaching and research opportunities are discussed.
