Dear Marmam, At this time of many changes and global economic restructuring, it is important to be as efficient in our conservation efforts as possible. The offshore, wide ranging, and cross-jurisdictional nature of marine mammals means that resources are often spread especially thin for these species.
To investigate ways to maximise our limited time and funding, we are exploring the challenges faced by conservation professionals and what they believe is needed to achieve more lasting conservation success. Your insights will help deepen understanding of the professional, institutional, and emotional dimensions of marine mammal and other conservation work. Participation is voluntary and anonymous. The survey should take about 15–20 minutes (depending on your answers). Participants who complete the survey can opt-in to a draw for a US$50 (or equivalent) gift card to a vendor of their choice.
