Acoustics in the marine domain encompasses physics, biology, chemistry, and 
geology. Understanding and processing relevant data from a variety of sensors 
helps in making regulatory and financial decisions. There is a strong need to 
employ an interdisciplinary and hands-on approach when working with acoustic 
datasets.
