Hi, In working with marss, I've found that all the instruction cache statistics are filed as usermode stats. I've traced this back to the fact that memoryRequests that come from fetching have an ownerRIP_ of 0, which causes false to be returned when is_kernel is called.
Is this intended behavior or should fetches that are occur while in kernel mode be accounted for in the kernel stats?
