To whom it may concern, I merely added a printout statement in the cache_insert_cb() in cacheController.cpp and noticed that a same physical tag may be inserted in the cache several times continuously. But to my understanding, once a block is inserted in the cache, the following access to this block should be 'hit' and will not trigger the cache_insert_cb() any more. Can anyone please explain why?
