Hello,
I ran a code (FFT) using "single core" configuration. Then I change the cache
size for different sizes (8K to 256K) .
I expected to number of cycles decrease by increasing the cache size but number
of cycles has variation i.e.
Cache size # of Cycles
8K 3.2 Millions
16K 5.29M
32K 3.06M
64K 5.18M
128K 3.05M
I only change the cache size and other configuration is same for all
simulations.
I really appreciate any advice!
