While integrating mcpat with the inorder Atom core model in marss, I ran into some issues and had the following specific questions: - How many pipeline stages are simulated? From the runcycle routine, I do see calls to fetch, issue, dispatch, frontend (which i think includes fetch/ecode). Can anyone please confirm the number ? Also, for OOO, what is the number of pipeline stages ? - For register renaming, the inorder core model seems to be using tag-indexed register file method unlike OOO core that simulates the reservation stations. Is that a correct understanding from the code ? - Does archdest_is_visible[] array give the physical reg file size for the atomcore ? Any ideas on the above will help! -- Regards, Ankita
