I read that thread before, and from that thread I learnt how to trace microcode. I tried the script matching instructions to symbol files but it did work. I will keep on trying it. I have a question here: If I want to trace x86 instruction from a script file (doing ls, for instance), which means I cannot find symbol file of it. In this case how can I trace instructions? Thanks!
