Hi,

I am new to Marss and am trying to benchmark a few linux binaries e.g. 'ls'
etc.

I tried the two default cores.

       1) In the default.conf file for a machine specified with core type 'ooo'
the applications works fine.

       2) Whereas when I change the type to 'atom', the 'ls' throws an error
saying " malloc :0 assertion botched ..."

My doubt is that if I want to change from 'ooo' to 'atom' , only a
change in core type should suffice or
I need to make any other changes in the config file.

I am attaching the link of the linux kernel which I am using,
        http://wiki.qemu.org/Testing#QEMU_disk_images
          (linux-0.2)

   Thanks

Regards
S Sen
