Is this issue limited to the commands(micro-benchmarks) which take a long time for the execution? I am asking this because for the short commands(micro-benchmarks) such as "./start_sim; ls; stop_sim" or "./start_sim; echo $PATH; stop_sim" the counting process and the execution of benchmark are ended at the same time point. In other words, I do not see any stop in the counting before the end execution.
