Hi, I am going to run SPEC CPU2006 benchmarks on MARSSx86 for multi-core configuration. I am thinking about using a barrier between processes, as described in Avadh's blog (http://marssandbeyond.blogspot.com/2011/09/creating-barrier-between-processes-with.html). I used this method for PARSEC benchmarks. It was quite straightforward because the ROI is clear and one can easily modify the hook to call sync_all_processes. However, I have no idea about SPEC CPU2006 benchmarks. Has anyone done this for these benchmarks? Any hints are welcome.
