Well, for starters, I'm not sure where you read that you could run the command 'simconfig -help' seeing as how that command is not listed among the valid simconfig commands. See: http://marss86.org/~marss86/index.php/Simconfig
However, the "Getting Started" section Tyler referenced gives examples of *valid* simconfig commands that can be run. I think if you try running those, you might have better luck.
