I made a patch for MARSS to support xquartz by following this thread:

QEMU of MARSS does not support xquartz keymap of OS X.
As a result, if you use MARSS on remote linux server using x-forwarding in OS
X, all keys do not work.

With this patch, you can use MARSS on remote linux server in OS X.
