Hi Syed,

Indeed, with the dbSNP query it is impossible to proceed.

But I have created a local biomart with data of my own. My problem refers to this biomart; I was referring to dbSNP as an illustration.

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi Alexandre
Are you using Martview ?. If thats the case, how do you proceed to
output page, with the said filter = 0. In this case as there are no
possible rows, you cannot proceed to result page. ?

Hi Arek,

Thank you very much for the really quick fix.

Now the count is reported correctly in the HTML page. However, when I eventually export the data to a table, the table again contains all the rows as if the filter has been ignored.

Best

Hello,

I'm creating a biomart and have trouble with searching numeric fields with the value 0.

This can be reproduced by searching for human SNPs at:
http://www.ensembl.org/Multi/martview

and specifying a value for Minor allele frequencies -> Maximum frequency of the minor allele.

If I enter "1", I get:

filter
Maximum frequency of the minor allele: 1 2823020 Entries pass Filters

but if I enter "0", I get:
filter
None 12065231 Entries pass Filters

Hi Alexandre,
this is now hopefully fixed. If you have a local install
please do 'cvs update' to get this patch. The central
server (http://www.biomart.org/biomart/martview)
has already been updated so you can test it there. We have
notified Ensembl folks and Ensmebl BioMart site will
follow with this patch in a few days

please let us know if you experience any further problems,
a.

Thank you in advance for your help.
Alexandre
