MartEditor's Naive function does not include any columns that contain
nothing but null values.
The logic behind this is that there seems to be no point in providing
the user with the ability to select an attribute or use a filter if
there is no useful data in the associated database column.
The database I was using was just a small test database, with
only a few rows. Ultimately, I would like to run Mart on the
full Reactome database, in which these columns will contain
data.
Anyway, I am going to take your advice, and split my Mart
into one dataset per main table, so this won't actually be an
issue for me.
