Yes indeed formaters are defined in the xmls, you simply write which
module you want to show and use for your specific dataset.
Did you start your server with the 'clean' option ? May
be your old xml was cached and the change you have made to your xml were
not picked up.

but nothing appears in the
drop down, is there somewhere in the code or configuration I need to add

P.S. The FILTER and ATTRIBUTE tables have the titles obscured when the
filter/attribute group is expanded. This appears to be a Javascript problem
(possibly with IE?). Is there any plans to look into this?
