this does not look good.
Could you do
/usr/sbin/httpd -l
and tell me what you get? (the /usr/sbin/httpd in my example needs be
replaced by the path to the
apache you are using to start up your server)
also if you could copy and paste the contents of the
biomart-perl/conf/httpd.conf file to your email
and send it us please so we can diagnose the problem further?

No, this is not normal. Could you please send us the output of the
error log file (biomart-perl/logs/error_log)
when you click on martview?
