do contain the templates you built earlier with an older registry but
the one being displayed by martservice request is a different registry.
I explain, if you see the HTML source of the page you are getting
errors, look for the following line
ERROR: requested template missing
just above where its printed, you will see in comments the name of the
files which martview tries to find under
/u1/ET/ensembl/branch-ensembl-45/biomart-perl/conf/templates/cached
, which in example you sent me are
<!-- attributepanel_default.compara_agam_btau_paralogs.tt -->
and
<!-- filterpanel_default.compara_agam_btau_paralogs.tt -->
and of course they do not exist under the said directory. so it throws
an error.
What I would suggest is to
kill your server,
rm
-rf /u1/ET/ensembl/branch-ensembl-45/biomart-perl/conf/templates/cached
do a perl bin/configure.pl -r conf/SOME_SMALL_REGISTRY.xml --clean
then check if the directory contains all the attribute and filterpanels
which exist in your registry. you may witness this during configure
process on the screen when it starts compiling templates.
then restart the server and see if you get any success. If not, then
check again what paths are being printed after modifying Web.pm and
through HTML source see which templates martview is looking for and if
it exists under the directory 'cached' in printed paths.
