Mirjam, can you find a fix for your system on one of these
discussions ?
I had 2 versions of mod_perl on the perl side: mod_perl 1.29 from CPAN
and mod_perl 1.99-16 from the mod_perl RPM. I removed both, and
installed mod_perl 2.0.4 from CPAN (which goes nicely with my apache 2.0).
And now apache starts up with the default biomart generated httpd.conf,
without any extra additions.
