Thanks, indeed I can see it now. Hopefully that person will get in touch
with you soon. If this functionality turns out to be really interesting,
we can consider the possibility of adding it to the new version to come.
I will bring this to the attention of our manager.
Take care,
Anthony

Hi Anthony,
Thanks a lot for your help. The person who was in charge of BioMart
at HapMap when the customization was done left about a year ago. I
have sent an email to her and hopefully it will find her.
I took the first screenshot at the HapMap web site. If you go to
HapMart (http://hapmart.hapmap.org/BioMart/martview), select the
rel23a schema, choose the "HapMap Population -- CEPH(...)" dataset,
and then in the Genotype attribute page, select the "CEU" attribute,
you will see the long header in the output.
Thanks again,
Wei

Hi Wei,
Sorry for the delay in answering. I looked at the configuration
files you sent me and couldn't find anything in it that would
explain the difference between what you see in MartEditor and what
you see on the web interface. As far as we know there is no such
functionality in the current system that would allow you to make
these 2 names appear differently. It seems to me this could simply
be a customization, in which case the best thing to do would be to
get in touch with the people in charge of BioMart at HapMap.
One thing though, when I tried to reproduce it, I did not observe
this difference in names (see attached file sent in private). Could
you please tell me how you got this first screenshot?
Thank you,
Anthony

Hi Anthony,
Please find the XMLs in the attached tar-ball. The XMLs are
actually for a version 0.3 biomart, but I couldn't figure out how
to configure output headers in both 0.3 and 0.7 biomart.
Thanks a lot,
Wei
