Hi Syed,
Thanks for letting me know - obviously we would like this to work OK
as soon as possible, but I understand that there are other priorities.
We may have to remove (or greatly simplify) some of the links we were
wait, can i have URL of the page which contains all these URLs which you
prefer not to display if the order isnt guaranteed.

hoping to use for the time being. When the Biomart team are fixing
this issue, it would also be useful to augment the URL request with a
flag for 'unique rows only' which I believe is not available at the
moment.
best regards,
Phil.
PS - I also tried posting a martservice request XML file to martview
with the same outcome, I guess the same fix will solve that one too.

Hi Phil,
unfortuntately, the order of atts in URL query is not respected. We will
look into fixing this for the next release. Please let us know whether or
not it can wait for few months,

Hi,
I am just about to release the first production version of the new
InterPro Biomart. I am making use of the URL facility to create
direct links from the existing InterPro web site to the BioMart. The
problem I am experiencing is that the order of attributes specified in
the URL is ignored in the results column order.
As an example of the problem, see:
Tiny URL: http://tinyurl.com/ljosra
which maps to:
http://wwwdev.ebi.ac.uk/interpro/biomart/martview?VIRTUALSCHEMANAME=default&ATTRIBUTES=entry.default.entry_attributes.entry_id|entry.default.entry_attributes.entry_short_name|entry.default.entry_attributes.entry_name|entry.default.entry_attributes.protein_id|entry.default.entry_attributes.protein_name|entry.default.entry_attributes.pos_from|entry.default.entry_attributes.pos_to|entry.default.entry_attributes.match_score|entry.default.entry_attributes.protein_tax_id|entry.default.entry_attributes.taxonomy_full_name&FILTERS=entry.default.filter_page.entry_id.%22IPR000001%22&VISIBLEPANEL=resultspanel
The url lists the attributes in the order EntryId, Entry short name,
Entry Name, Protein ID, Protein Name, Start position, End position,
Match score, Taxonomy ID, Taxonomic name
which is completely different to the order in which they are displayed.
I have looked in the mart-dev mailing list history and found some
reference to attribute order posted a couple of years ago, but no
mention since, so perhaps this is a configuration issue that I need to
correct?
best regards,
Phil.
