The new Ensembl marts for release 56 are now live on www.ensembl.org and
www.biomart.org. The following improvements and modifications have been
made:
Mart Builds (all species)
Ensembl mart 56
* Addition of new species Callithrix jacchus (Marmoset) and Sus
scrofa (Pig)
* Drosophila melanogaster is now on assembly BDGP 5.13
* Re-addition of % identity information from compara as well as
addition of the tag and value information from the protein_tree_tag
table (Bootstrap score and duplication_confidence_score).
* Addition of GO Slim information
* Addition of new "Transcript Event" attribute page containing
information from the splice_event table
* Addition of Eukaryotic Promoter Database (EPD), The G protein-
coupled Receptor Database (GPCR) and TransFac filters and attributes
for Drosophila melanogaster
* Removal of Anopheles gambiae and Aedes aegypti as these species
are now in the Ensembl Genomes Marts (http://metazoa.ensembl.org/)
Vega mart 36
* Addition of RefSeq Genomic filters and attributes
Ensembl variation mart 56
* Removal of Ensembl Celera, TSC and HGVBase information
* Human now on dbSNP 130
Ensembl Functional Genomics mart 56
* Addition of external reference attributes (Gene references) for
the External Features
