I am currently studying year 12 at Nerang State High School on the Gold Coast, Australia. One of the subjects that I have elected is Study of Society. We have recently been given an assignment concerning Crime Rates and the Classes in Society that effect them. We are to discuss this using the theorists Carl Marx and Weber, Davis and Moore,and both the Conflict theory and the Functionalist theory.
