What do you mean redefined ? Class ideology ? Which class ? It don't feel bourgeois.<<<< Reply Healthy life expectancy and life expectancy are two very different concepts of human health. The latter measured life span without regard to the physical conditions of the individual or mass. Healthy life expectancy as defined by the World Health Organization. Healthy life expectancy is falling in the relative and absolute sense. Illnesses like cancer is a disease of consumption and over consumption. Diabetes is a consumption disease. Even sickle cell anemia is an anemia . . . blood disease of over consumption or lack of iron phosphate. The disease of sickle cell anemia is not the broken cell, or the sickle shaped cell. The broken cell express the disease state in this environment, which lack high iron phosphate concentrates. "Eat, drink and be merry" has meaning for the 4 billion slaves of imperial bourgeois relations. It is a slogan of gluttony. Actually, if we are to die tomorrow it is best to stop eating all together. The drink in "Eat, drink and be merry" is not water but an expression of excess. The bottom line remains and it is always the ideology of the most privileged, imperial ideology. One will increase their healthy life expectancy if they are always a little bit more than less hungry. What we call being hungry in America is not actually hunger but the process of the body attempting to eliminate excess food stuff. Healthy life expectancy is in fact falling as an aspect of gluttony and obesity. The mounting health crisis in America is the disease of over consumption. Are not the ten best selling drugs in all the imperial centers basically "treatments" for over eating and various forms of stomach disease? Marxism as such cannot unravel the question of consumption. The Marxist movement is impotent on most issues of the metabolic process. Marx method is different from how the various off shoots of Marxism define themselves. Where is the American Marxists literature on eating? Marx method is of course another matter. The issue of over consumption, sustainability and over population is all ways tied to food production and the physical amount of people on earth, rather than the social relations of production. The is issue number one. Issue number two is an examination of the distinct properties of what is produced and consumed. Rather than examine number two, the proponents of sustainability theory and depletion theory examine the energy infrastructure behind what is produced, abstracted from the commodity form of everything produced and end up with "birth control" and population reduction as primary ingredients in "saving the world." This body politic is aimed at the great unwashed mass suffering under the jackboot of bourgeois imperialism.
