WL: I stated my source in Theories of Surplus Value for my use of antagonism.
^^^ CB: Is that the same meaning as in _The Manifesto of the Communist Party_ Class antagonism, as in The Manifesto ? Antagonistic classes as oppressor and oppressed classes ? ^^^^ WL:By classical Marxism you mean your understanding of what constitutes classical. I quoted Marx directly for my use of relations of production. ^^^^ CB: Which quote is that again ? ^^^^ WL: I have outlined my specific placing within the polarity of the communist movement. Make up new terms? Why when I present Marx exact words and you do not. ^^^^^^ CB: Ok lets go back to the posts on the "antagonism" in _The Manifesto of the Communist Party_ Are you using "antagonism" in the same way that Marx does in there ? ^^^ Classical according to whom? Take the African American National Factor. We may disagree and that is all right. What is its classical presentation? ^^^^ CB: Classical to me is Marx, Engels and Lenin's take on something. Marx, Engels and Lenin have something to say on the history of African Americans in a number of places in their works. That would be the classical presentation on that. ^^^^^ You are mistaken and have basically not read the sections of Theory of Surplus Value I indicated and dispute the passages I quoted directly on relations of production from Marx. Wasitline ^^^^^ CB: You haven't demonstrated that I am mistaken. What passages quoting Marx directly on relations of production are you talking about ? Repeat them or refer them again. Also, what specific sections of Theories of Surplus Value I are you talking about ? _______________________________________________ Marxism-Thaxis mailing list [email protected] To change your options or unsubscribe go to: http://lists.econ.utah.edu/mailman/listinfo/marxism-thaxis
