CB: I have already dealt with the issue several times. The "curent" or latest leaps in the development of the instruments of production have not led to a rev over throwing bourgeois private property.
WL: Revolutions do not overthrow a civic power. That is called the act of insurrection. What the revolution in the means of production do is sublate one form and quality of the organization of the material power of production. See the difference in approach. Waistline CB: Social revolutions make a qualitative change in the property relations of society. The revolution we are about aims to abolish bourgeois private property. Scientific and technological revolutions , which as Marx and Engels says are constant in the bourgeois era , are not the social revolution. _______________________________________________ Marxism-Thaxis mailing list [email protected] To change your options or unsubscribe go to: http://lists.econ.utah.edu/mailman/listinfo/marxism-thaxis
